Raceway Ministries - Volunteers Needed for Sept. 6 & 7 NASCAR Races at Richmond International Raceway

Dear Raceway Volunteers,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your faithfulness in service with Central Virginia's Raceway Ministries at Richmond International Raceway (RIR).

For over twelve years you have enabled this expression of Partnership Missions to grow from one small site to four plus locations for each race weekend. It is indeed unprecedented to experience the confidence that the RIR Raceway Executive Officers have placed in Central Virginia Raceway Ministries Mission.

More than ever we need your commitment to volunteer to come along side what the Lord is doing through us and give the entire Team the joys of having you serve for one or more time slots during the September NASCAR Race weekend.

Please click on the following for more information: CVRM Brochure, Ministry Opportunity Flyer, Child/Teen Registration Form. We would love to have you join us September 6 & 7, 2013. We would also like for you to assist in the enlistment of other volunteers so feel free to print and share any of the attached forms with friends.

You may also want to email Billy Davis ( with your choice of shift time prior to the August 27 Orientation meeting. Lastly, you will note that attendance at the Orientation Training Session on Tuesday evening, August 27, at 7:00 p.m. is a MUST. This has become a requirement of Richmond International Raceway Executive Staff. Even if you have attended many of these sessions in past years that doesn't mean this session can be overlooked. Should you have a significant personal schedule conflict, let me know and Tiny Dawson, Chief Guest Services Officer, will have a "make up" date and time for another training session.

NEWS FLASH! You will hear more about this at the Orientation Session. We will most likely have a new Main Tent Site down by the Tram Sliding Gate for the September races. Once again we can minister to the 60,000+ fans who pass by this location as they approach the track!!!

These are wonderful days in the life and ministry of CVRM! Remember, you have made it so!! I hope we can count on you.

In His Grace,

Billy Davis
